Lord Byron Awarded Chief's Pride Award

Lord Byron, the hunter formerly ridden by MFH Bob Andre' and donated to the Rochester Police Department's Mounted Patrol Unit in 1999, and his rider, Officer Charlie Horst, were awarded the Chief's Pride Award in recognition of outstanding service to the Rochester Police Department and the people of Rochester on June 6, in a ceremony at the new Rochester Public Safety Building. The Chief's Pride Award is given in concert with the Cosequin Equine Exemplary Service Award, under which a donation from Nutramax Laboratories will go to the United Cerebral Palsy Association of the Rochester Area, Inc. in honor of Lord Byron.
